Motorcycle Preps for Wheel Story season 5

August 2, 2017

English Version :

A true motorized adventurer certainly does not escape the preparations that have indeed become an important ritual before carrying out his great adventure. This time we peek at the preparations made by Mario for his Honda CRF250 Rally before being sent to Africa.

From the look of the Honda CRF250 Rally motorbike, it has indeed made it cool, indeed created for the needs of adventure lovers who love adventure. But for Wheel Story, it will certainly be adjusted according to the adventurer's needs, so for the 'cockpit' itself, a GPS unit will be added with a clear look like a Dakar motorbike 'tower' in front of the steering wheel, plus a power socket of 2 units as a power source for the gadget (Camera , Drone, Mobile, Powerbank, Bluetooth communication and GoPro) and the handlebar bag are tightly tied to the steering wheel, and the steering handlebar uses a 20mm riser to make motor handling more comfortable. There is also a super lightweight and tiny 'wheel spanner' that helps open the tire wheel bolts, sets the chain and fingers much faster and more practically.

The back of the custom pannier rack and luggage rack is placed in sidebags and dufflebags to carry camping equipment, tools, spare parts, toileteries and change clothes. The left side of the rear body is deliberately inserted with a 4 liter size just in case if you will pass a long route with minimal gas stations. Then to be safer parking on sand or soft soil, the sidestand section is added sidestand extension, then the bottom will be installed alluminium skidplate to protect the engine from impact and rocks. In terms of engine, suspension and tires are still standard factory defaults.

So this is the story of Wheel Story preparing for a cross-country trip that will begin in October. Next we will update about International travel documents that must be owned by a Biker.

Salam Adventure.
